Eligibility for Funds
RAF aims to facilitate MNH related research and/or advocacy activities by providing small grants up to £50,000 and large grants up to £500,000 to public institutions, programmes and departments; civil society organisations; academic institutions; private consultants and consulting firms; and national and international consortia, selected through a comprehensive evaluation and grant approval process.

National organisations:
- Registered with public authority under relevant acts in Pakistan (where applicable) for at least two years.
- Relevant experience/expertise in research and/or advocacy sufficient to carry out projects of the size and complexity indicated.
- Institutional capacity to implement, monitor, manage funds with appropriate independent auditing arrangements.
- Experience of working with socially excluded and marginalised communities.
International organisations:
- Valid permission to work in Pakistan
- Local presence in the country through official registration and an established setup strongly preferred
- Relevant experience/expertise in research and/or advocacy sufficient to carry out projects of the size and complexity indicated.
- Authorised to open bank account in Pakistan and receive funds in Pak Rupees.
- Evidence of audit in last two years.
Individual Consultants: (For Small Grants only)
- Pakistani national or in case of non Pakistani evidence of residing in Pakistan.
- Relevant experience/expertise in research of at least 2 years.
- Registered with National Tax Authority of Pakistan (for Pakistani nationals only).
- Authorized to open a separate bank account and receive funds in Pak Rupees.
